This Is Us.

Warm & welcoming. Vibrant & contemporary.

We are over 300 families strong, progressive and proudly egalitarian, with approximately one hundred students enrolled in religious school. Spirituality and education are thriving, our morning minyan is well-attended seven days a week, and we are more essential than ever to Jews across greater Fairfield. Holiday and Shabbat services, particularly those featuring young learners, are filled with song and smiles. And, though not the largest, this congregation is an integral part of the secular community as well, the face of Judaism to our neighbors.

We’re an established (since 1952) yet dynamic Conservative synagogue that’s just the right size — small enough to foster spiritual warmth and close friendships, yet large enough to sustain a myriad of diverse activities & programs.

We’re singles, young couples, and multi-generational families with children of all age groups. We’re in our 20’s, our 80’s, and every decade in between. And everyone regardless of status, faith, or identity is welcome.

But here’s the important thing.

We’re not just a bunch of neighbors standing next to each other. We’re a community that feels like family, in a place that feels like home.

So come join us. Check out everything we have to offer, and then talk with us about membership

Our Mission.

Our mission is to be the center of Jewish spirituality for all in the Fairfield area:

•    To serve as a vessel for prayer, Jewish ritual, and tradition.
•    To sustain our loving Jewish community, serving its spiritual and social needs.
•    To educate our youth and to instill a sense of belonging.

This is something special.

Since 1952, Beth El is where we have come together. To celebrate and to mourn. To educate our children and ourselves. To join together in worship. And to volunteer, care for, and love each other as we all do our small part to repair the world.

Year in and year out, we are here forming close, long-lasting friendships both in the building and beyond these walls.

And just as the High Holidays mark for each of us the passage of time, it is this place — this building, these people, this set of timeless traditions and values — that marks the roots of who we are as individuals.

Beth El connects us to each other, and to ourselves.

Beth El is the link. Connecting generations, connecting families, connecting our past to our future and the coming generations.

This is something special.

We welcome you to join us
