Sisterhood of

Congregation Beth El

Sisterhood is proud of its demographically balanced group of women who enhance the religious, spiritual and cultural life of Beth El by working hard to create something for everyone. Fundraising projects contribute to the synagogue's annual budget, and most often contain a Jewish element. Sisterhood maintains a healthy Mitzvah Fund that is used only for that purpose and encourages any congregant to tell us of a need we may not be aware of. Sisterhood members are good listeners and encourage all ideas!

Sisterhood membership dues are complimentary in the first year you join Beth El, including a 20% discount in the gift shop on your first time purchase.

If you would like to join the Sisterhood, please click here and fill out your registration. You will then be prompted to pay online via Paypal or you can mail your check into the synagogue office.  If you are already a Sisterhood member, you can simply renew your membership HERE.

Fundraisers Purim 2018

We are excited to deliver an enhanced Purim Basket program for Purim 2018! We would like to invite you to participate in the Mishloach Manot or Purim Basket Campaign. It is a wonderful mitzvah of giving gifts of food to friends and family in celebration of the joyful festival of Purim.

A wonderful way to perform this mitzvah is through community gift packages. Rather than every family preparing their own packages to deliver, the Sisterhood of Beth El will organize joint gift packages.

Through our new ShulCloud system, you can elect to give Purim Baskets to anyone in our congregation/staff list as well as your family/friends who are living out of state. Each recipient will receive ONE gift basket along with a card that names all the people who participated in that Purim Basket gift package.

Should you have any questions or concerns, please contact Gayle Kuhr at

Thank you for your participation and we wish you a Happy Purim!

Men's Club

Our vibrant Men's Club was created to provide members with a friendly, social atmosphere. Programs include Sukkah building, Purim carnival, wine tasting events, baseball games, barbeques and the annual Stand-Up Comedy night with professional comedians in our own social hall.

Now, as always,  Congregation Beth El is your home.
